Dear friends,
Again, my apologies for this long break from posting. The sad truth is that I’ve been so absorbed with work that I haven’t had much time for photography. Our journal first article was published in the Journal of the Acoustical Society of America in November, and I’ve just submitted a new manuscript for review (where I’m first author!) :)
However, now that I’m on holiday I’ve finally had some time to take some snaps. And I’ve also been having fun with my new EF-S 55-250mm IS telephoto, hehe, a x-mas present to myself.
I spent a few days in Singapore with my old housemate Shahram, and he was kind enough to host me at his dorm room at the National University of Singapore (NUS). The below shot was taken on my first night in the tropical city-state, while getting over my jet-lag.

Finally, after arriving in Taipei, my dad and I took the new High-Speed-Rail down to Chiayi. Very comfy.

I apologize for the brevity of this post, but I’m about to jet off to Bali Island for 5 days or so, and hopefully return with some more pics. I have plenty more to share from Singapore as well, but have not had a chance to develop them yet :) All in good time…
